ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

About this space

This newly renovated 2 bedroom is located in Sandys parish and boasts beautiful views of Ellys Harbour. As we are in the finishing stages of furnishing the home we elected to list it online accepting bookings starting in August! There is a private neighborhood beach only doorsteps away where the calm waters are inviting for turtles and other marine life. It is also close to historical attractions like Fort Scaur, Heydon Trust and The Railway Trail.

The space

As you walk in the entrance you a greeted with a bright and airy open plan living , dining and kitchen. There are lots of windows so you can instantly see the views of Ellys Harbour from the moment you step inside.

This home has two bedrooms each having its own en-suite bathroom. The bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and a sitting area. The master bedroom has a large bathroom and walk-in closet. There is beautiful large free-standing tub the perfect place to relax. There is also a separate shower and his and hers sinks. The second guest bedroom has a walk-in shower.

One of the best features about the home is the wrap around deck. There are French doors off the guest bedroom that lead out to a deck where you can enjoy the shade of a Bermuda Cedar Tree and enjoy the view. You can walk around the entire front of the house taking you to a lower grassy area and up to another deck that’s just off of the kitchen.

There are a few sitting areas to enjoy a morning coffee or wine down from a long day with a glass of wine.

Guest access

The entire upper unit is yours to enjoy. There is a lower 1 bedroom for other vacationers that do not share a space with you. There is a lawn off to the far side of the house which is common.

Other things to note

We can’t forget Gilbert! He’s our little piggy ottoman. With all the shipwrecks that happened in the early days there were hogs that managed to survive and populated the island. When settlers came the hogs were a source of food and became a symbol of good luck which is why it is featured on our local penny! Hence – the hog penny. PLEASE take a picture with Gilbert at some point during your stay and send it to us or tag us in your social media posts!
